handmade jewelryMy mom’s birthday is coming around again and I have been racking my brain to try and figure out what to get her this year. Over Christmas, my brother and I did the whole family photo thing along with some beauty products. My brother has also been weighing different birthday options. He gave me a call the other night to see what my thoughts are on attempting handmade jewelry. I reminded him how unfortunate my Lego projects used to be. Making things from scratch is not my forte. I have all the faith in the world he could make something cool out of a handmade jewelry kit. So I told him to go for that ultra personal touch.

I on the other hand am in search of pre-made handmade jewelry. After finding the right bracelet or necklace with a pendant, my plan is to get something nice engraved in the back. That way there is that something extra to show mom how much we all care. I can imagine the tears welling up in her eyes when she unwraps our presents three weeks from now.
